The other famous open square in Barcelona, is the Plaza Catalunya which is a 20-minute walk away, which gives you access to Las Ramblas and Passeig de Gràcia. As for getting fresh produce to cook with, there is the Mercat de Sant Antoni, only an 8-minute walk from the apartment.
