This two-bedroom apartment is found in the Eixample district, with space for up to 4 people. The apartment has a private terrace equipped with seats and a table which gives you views of the incredible Sagrada Familia and the exciting neighbourhood of Eixample. With Air conditioning, central heating and WiFi, it offers all you need for a wonderful break in Barcelona.

The open living-diner has a sleek, modern design which opens up onto the private terrace giving you the perfect opportunity to relax in or out of the sun after a day of exploring the city. You have the sofa and television besides the dining table and chairs to use, so you can spend meal times between your dining table and your outdoor terrace.

As for cooking in the apartment, you have the fully-equipped kitchen area in the open living- diner for you and your guests to use. Here you can find a toaster, juicer, and coffee machine, as well as an oven, hob, microwave to cook dinner with your guests.

The rooms are both bright and spacious with ample storage space, and windows with views of the Sagrada Familia. In addition to this, there is one bathroom complete with a shower.

Being located in Eixample offers a great location for your stay in Barcelona, close to all the best sights. For some sightseeing, you are just 2-minute´s walk from the old bull ring of La Monumental, and just 8-minute´s walk from the Sagrada Familia. For shopping, you are just 11-minute´s walk from the Glòries Shopping Centre and only 8-minute´s by metro from the iconic Passeig de Gràcia. From here you have access to the Plaça Catalunya, and all the fantastic restaurants and bars in the area.

District

Eixample is Catalan for ´extension´, meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city, and it is one of the most popular districts in the Catalan capital. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born architect, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when drawing up the plans of the new area.

Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), and is home to one of the most famous streets in Barcelona, Passeig de Gràcia, known for its high fashion stores and trendy restaurants.

The street is intersected by the long Avinguda Diagonal, which runs through the entire city.

Eixample Derecho is home to many gems of ´Modernisme´ architecture, including the unique Casa Milà (La Pedrera), the colourful Casa Batlló and the towering Sagrada Familia, known as Gaudí´s unfinished masterpiece. You will also find plenty of great bars and cafés here, too, and if you decide to choose one of the many Barcelona apartments in Eixample Derecho for your stay, you will be able to easily explore the city, due to the neighbourhood´s convenient, central location and excellent public transportation services.
