Located in the sophisticated Eixample area, this stylish two bedroom apartment has recently been renovated. Its central location means Plaça Catalunya, Las Ramblas and Passeig de Gràcia are all easily accessible whether on foot or via the city’s well connected public transport links.

The apartment is very modern and features two good sized bedrooms which between them accommodate up to four people. The spacious living and dining area offers a dining table with 4 chairs as well as a comfortable corner sofa and flat screen television, making it the perfect place to relax in the evenings. The apartment also features 2 modern bathrooms with large walk-in showers.

The chic kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to prepare your favourite meals in the comfort of this stylish apartment. There is a coffee maker, a dishwasher and a washing machine for your convenience. This apartment comes with plenty of further amenities such as a hairdryer, iron and free wifi.

An elevator provides easy access to the apartment and air conditioning along with heaters make it a comfortable and contemporary place to stay, any time of the year.

This location is very central and you can find yourself a walking distance from the cities many monuments. Just a 16 minute walk away, you will find Gaudí´s Casa Batlló which is found on the fashion high street of Passeig de Gràcia. Closer to the apartment, only a 3 minute walk away is the Mercat del Ninot, where you can buy fresh food and other goods. Lastly, there is the start of the world famous La Rambla a 20 minute walk away, as well as there being many transport links nearby as alternatives.

BEFORE BOOKING: We recommend visiting the apartment so that you can appreciate it in person. Although the dimensions are clearly indicated in the ad, the photos were taken with a wide-angle lens to better showcase the space, which may make it appear larger. Additionally, please note that the apartment has been enjoyed by several guests, so it may show some signs of normal wear and tear over time.

District

Eixample is Catalan for ´extension´, meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born urban planning visionary, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when creating the plans for this new district.

Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), both of which are home to some fantastic restaurants and stores.

Eixample Izquierdo is delimited by the grand, Passeig de Gràcia, a paradise for shopping and dining, and Plaça d´Espanya, where the Montjuïc Magic Fountain and one of the biggest convention centres in Barcelona can be found. The Parc de Joan Miró, with its iconic ´Woman and Bird´ sculpture created by the Barcelona-born artist, is also situated here, as well as the Arenas shopping centre, which was once a bull-fighting ring.
